Congratulations to Elizabeth and Bernie who were married on a gorgeous June day at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA!  In my years of wedding photography, it’s always such a pleasure to capture and document the emotions of such a momentous day in people’s lives. And let me tell you, Elizabeth and Bernie’s wedding was absolutely a momentous day.

One of the most memorable moments of a wedding day is the moment a father and daughter see each other for the first time. Daddy’s little girl, now a bride, ready to be married… it’s always a moment that is filled with emotions. When Elizabeth’s father first saw her, he had such a look of joy and delight. When they embraced, it was filled with warmth and pride. His love for his daughter was so clear in those moments.

This Lancaster wedding was infused with timeless, classic beauty. From the bride, exquisite in her lace gown, to the ceremony, through to the reception, no detail was overlooked. The Cork Factory was an amazing choice as a wedding venue. The Cork Factory is a historic property filled with warmth and charm. It is both a venue and a hotel, offering convenience for getting ready as well as for guests. The ballroom, where the reception was held was gracefully decorated, and the brick walls were expertly highlighted with dramatic up-lighting. It was the perfect location for Elizabeth and Bernie to share their first dance as husband and wife. As they took to the floor, it was like the rest of the world fell away.

As far as Lancaster wedding venues go, the Cork Factory Hotel is an amazing choice!  With the exposed brick, high ceilings and rough-hewn lumber, it provides a background infused with historic elegance and timeless beauty. It was lovingly restored and was decorated masterfully for Elizabeth and Bernie’s event.
