Christy & Jacob : The Inn at Leola Village Wedding

Christy and Jacob were married last May with a ceremony at Asbury United Methodist Church and a reception at The Inn at Leola Village in Leola, PA. Happy anniversary to you both! Looking back at their wedding photography brought a smile to my face. As a Pennsylvania wedding photographer, I get the chance to meet a lot of people, but this couple was so fun and outgoing that they felt like my friends right at the beginning. I am pleased to share their wedding photos on the blog today.

This wedding had such an amazing feeling of family togetherness. I loved seeing the special moments between Christy, Jacob and their loved ones. Christy and her bridesmaids were all smiles as they got ready for the day. I love the picture of the champagne exploding as they celebrated together. I also loved capturing Jacob and the guys together as they prepared for the day. Jacob helped his future step-son, Drew, as he got into his tuxedo. Jacob was so patient helping him and Drew looked so grown up! Later, Christy had a first look with Drew, and it was just so touching. Being able to capture that sweet moment between mother and son was so precious.

Their wedding ceremony at the Asbury United Methodist Church was stunning. This beautiful church in York, PA has high ceilings and an amazing stained-glass window behind the altar. The light lined up perfectly and the colors streamed in from behind the bride and groom as they said their ‘I do’s. They were welcomed as husband and wife to a cheerful shower of bubbles.

When it was time for the wedding reception at the Inn at Leola Village, it was time to celebrate. There was so much joy to celebrate Christy and Jacob. There’s one image of Jacob on the dance floor in sunglasses with the biggest smile on his face and I think that really summed up the feeling from the reception. Everyone had a blast and it was such a wonderful day.
