In early June of last year, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alicia and Chuck for a beautiful Spring engagement shoot at Long’s Park in Lancaster, PA. We had an amazing time and took some gorgeous photos throughout the evening until the sun went down!
Chuck + Alicia’s Beautiful Long’s Park Engagement Shoot
Chuck and Alicia wrote back and forth for 9 months before officially meeting in person. At the time, Chuck was serving in the US Navy. So, when they finally did meet, they quickly fell head over heels in love. And what a sweet couple they make! They were so excited for their life to officially start together as husband and wife.
I think we chose the perfect location for this engagement session—Long’s Park in Lancaster. It was gorgeous out and the weather was perfect! The pond and the gazebo make for incredible backdrops that really have a way of setting off the photos. I love the shots I took of Alicia and Chuck out on the dock in front of the fountain. I’m even more in love with the photos we took on the bridge. Their embrace was so sweet! The way Chuck looked at Alicia, I could really feel just how much love he truly has for her.
Yes, romance was in the air the day of the session and I was able to capture so many special moments. The lush greenery of the park made for extraordinary color combinations as the sun went down. Chuck and Alicia brought multiple outfits to wear the day of the shoot, including Chuck’s Navy camouflage gear. Needless to say, we had plenty of great options to choose from.
These two create such a beautiful couple. They were a joy to work with and the scenery at Long’s Park really brought the magic out in these photos. They were recently married at the beginning of May and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
Chuck and Alicia, I wish you two all the best in your lives to come. I want to thank you for letting me be a part of this special day with you guys. Keep that love strong and there’s no limit to how far you will go!
