On a rainy winter day filled with love, Zaria and Eric were married. They had their wedding ceremony at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Blessed Virgin Mary Church and their wedding reception was held at the Country Club of York. One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer is how I am present for one of the happiest days in peoples’ lives. But Zaria and Eric’s wedding was really special. This family and their closeness was so sweet and everyone was so happy all throughout the day. Truly, it was a pleasure to photograph this winter wedding. Looking back at these pictures brought a smile to my face and I’m really pleased to share them today.
Zaria and Eric’s York Wedding
Zaria’s parents, Tom and Patricia, are personal friends of mine. So, it was really an honor to be invited to their home to document their little girl’s big day. They threw an absolutely amazing wedding! Zaria got ready at their beautiful home. She had a first look with her father, and Tom looked so proud! Once everyone was ready, Zaria and Eric had a really memorable first look in the front yard. Eric stood at the bottom of the steps. Then, not only his bride to be, but the whole wedding party came out onto the front steps. Everyone looked on as Zaria came down the steps in her gown and the two embraced for the first time. It really was beautiful to see how much love there was in their lives—not just for one another, but from their family and friends. Everyone was happy to see them married!
Country Club of York Wedding Photography
After a gorgeous ceremony at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Blessed Virgin Mary Church, everyone adjourned to the Country Club of York for their wedding reception. The Country Club of York is a gorgeous York wedding venue, and it was beautifully decorated for Zaria and Eric’s wedding. I really appreciated how they leaned into the winter colors, using a beautiful combination of navy, silver and ivory as their colors. The ballroom at the Country Club of York was so elegantly appointed, it was a beautiful backdrop for their celebration.
And a celebration it was! Zaria and Eric glided across the ballroom as they shared their first dance as man and wife. There was joy on every person’s face and it was truly a celebration. Sometimes, at a wedding, I get a chance to meet interesting people. At this wedding, it just so happened that one of the groom’s childhood friends was Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro Lineman, David DeCastro! Caleb and I couldn’t pass up the chance to meet him and get a picture!
Zaria and Eric, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day. I am so happy you asked me to be your wedding photographer for your Country Club of York winter wedding. May the joy and love from this day follow you through each and every day as husband and wife. And thank you also to Tom and Patricia for throwing such a wonderful party.
