Samantha & Josh : A Long’s Park Engagement Session

Longs Park Engagement Session John Malloy Photography

Love inspires me every day. I am lucky enough to be able to capture love as my job, and it never fails to inspire me. And seeing love like the love Samantha and Josh share makes me smile. I was fortunate enough to photograph their engagement session at Longs Park in Lancaster, PA. It was a day filled with smiles, happiness and, of course, love.

Samantha and Josh’s Long’s Park Engagement Session

I truly believe that all photography should have beautiful, dreamy light and natural moments. That’s what I went out to capture when I met up with Samantha and Josh for their engagement session on a gorgeous June day, just about a year ago! Together, we used all the creativity we could pool between the three of us to show off their love and happiness in front of the camera.

I love engagement sessions in Long’s Park. There are so many places for portraits tucked away in the 80 acres of natural beauty, right in the middle of the city. Samantha and Josh have the kind of love that warms my heart. You can see how Samantha’s eyes just sparkle when she smiles. Love like this is easy to document and my pleasure to capture.

Samantha and Josh are happy, fun loving people. They even brought their dog with them to their engagement session and it was nice to get pictures of the whole family together! But, of course, the focus was on these two and their love. It was so nice to be able to capture both sides of this couple: the tender, romantic side and the happy, playful side.

Samantha and Josh will be having their wedding at the Stone Mill Inn. Weddings at the Stone Mill Inn are always both unique and romantic. It’s a truly beautiful property with six different location on a sprawling 12 acre property for a dream wedding to become reality. I love being a Stone Mill Inn wedding photographer because there are so many amazing places for photographs. Whether in the handsomely adorned 18th century mansion or by the historic stone mill itself, there are so many unique places for wedding photography.

Congratulations on your engagement, Samantha and Josh! I loved photographing your love during your Long’s Park engagement session.
