Being a wedding photographer has proven to be one of the most rewarding things in my life. I love being able to capture the pure joy from a couple on their big day and then share those moments with them again when I hand over their photos. Watching their expressions light up as they relive the experience again through an outsider’s perspective makes this job extremely worthwhile.
One of my favorite mediums for giving clients the photos I took is with beautifully crafted photo albums I put together in conjunction with Graphi Studio in Italy. These albums are gorgeous and not just perfect for wedding albums, but family and newborn albums as well!
Christy & Jacob’s Wedding Album | John Malloy Photography
I love a good photo album. Turning the crisp pages. Rediscovering the memories on glossy images. I could spend hours with the family going through old photo albums and it always manages to bring a smile to our faces and warm our hearts.
So when I approached Jacob and Christy about getting a photo album made for their wedding, they were completely on board!
The album was made in Italy by a wonderful Italian company called Graphi Studio. The attention to detail on the albums is second to none. Every time I order an album to be made for a client, I’m never worried about botched pages or cheap-looking materials. They always come out of the box looking flawless. When I handed over the beautiful, gold-engraved box to Jacob and Christy, I could tell they knew they had made the right decision.
Christy and Jacob were both married at the Asbury United Methodist Church in York, with a reception at the Inn at Leola Village.
Now, I’m a pretty humble guy, but if I can toot my own horn for a second, let me just say that the pictures we shot that day came out gorgeous! With two amazing locations to shoot at, it was almost impossible to take a bad picture. And let’s not forget how stunning both the bride and groom looked. Definitely some of my proudest work. I loved all of the fun moments I was able to capture, like the champagne explosion before Christy got ready, and the romantic evening she shared with her new husband after the ceremony was over.
Yes, giving my clients wedding albums is one of my most favorite things about being a wedding photographer. It helps me to walk away knowing that they will always have a way to remember their big day and all of the people who were there to support them.
And it’s never too late to have a photo album made! If you’ve already had a wedding shot by me, or you’re in the midst of planning your wedding and the thought of owning one of these albums makes you jump for joy, please don’t hesitate to contact me! Let’s talk about how we can preserve your memories in one of these gorgeous, legacy keepsakes.
Thank you to Christy and Jacob for giving the chance to capture such an amazing couple! I wish you two all the best in your years to come!
