Meghan & Justin : Eden Resort Wedding

Eden Resort Wedding John Malloy Photography

Back in February, I got the chance to be the wedding photographer for Meghan and Justin’s amazing winter wedding at Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA. I had an absolutely wonderful time capturing these two on one of the biggest days of their lives!

Meghan & Justin’s Eden Resort Wedding

Meghan and Justin are a very fun and energetic couple, especially Justin. This hilarious groom had the entire wedding party cracking up all day! I could hardly hold the camera still!

It was winter in Lancaster, and there was plenty of fresh snow on the ground. But these guys were no strangers to the cold. We were able to snap some incredible shots of the wedding party at Long’s Park after the ceremony. I love Long’s Park, even in the winter! There is so much great scenery to capture these kinds of moments. Everyone was so excited throughout the day and it must have thickened everyone’s skin because they were all real troopers about the wedding day weather.

It was so easy to capture Meghan and Justin’s love. Every single shot I got of this couple just oozed romance. They were just so happy to finally be husband and wife. I loved the wedding dress Meghan chose. The white fur shawl she wore around her shoulders really set off the winter mood they were going for. Love in the wintertime, what a magical thing!

As most of you know, I’m a huge fan of images with just the bride and groom alone, sharing in the silence and the calm around them, soaking in the day. Meghan and Justin were able to give me everything I hoped for as a wedding couple. The shots I got of them inside Eden Resort, just before the reception were incredible! The quiet before the storm. And the first dance was something out of a fairy tale. The room was dark and it was like it was still just the two of them. All they knew was each other in that moment, and I’m so glad I was able to capture it on camera. The Eden Resort really is a beautiful venue, but Meghan and Justin really brought out the magic in the place.

I’d just like to thank Meghan and Justin for allowing me to be a part of their amazing winter wedding day. I had such a great time and I hope they did as well. I hope they can cherish these images for years to come! Meghan and Justin, thank you for your love. I wish you nothing but happiness for years to come!
