Back in May, I had the absolute pleasure of being the wedding photographer for Jen and Eric’s stunning Baltimore Museum of Industry wedding. Something about Baltimore really speaks to me. From the eastern, coastal living to just the spirit of the city. It all feels so classic. So early American. I love it! And I loved everything about this wedding!
Jen & Eric’s Baltimore Museum of Industry Wedding
Baltimore has an incredibly storied past, and I love coming here to shoot weddings. This wedding was no different!
Jen and Eric are two truly amazing people. So amazing, that on one of their very first dates, they didn’t just go to dinner, then went out and helped people in need in downtown Baltimore. They just have the charitable hearts and it made me feel real joy knowing that I would get to be there to capture their big day!
Both got ready at the Inner Harbor Hyatt Regency. I love the pictures I got of Jen and her parents, Al and Donna at the hotel when Donna helped her get ready before doing a first look with her father. It was incredibly touching. Then it was off to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for the ceremony and reception.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry is all about celebrating Maryland’s industrial legacy. It holds the history of innovation that Baltimore is known for. It’s an amazing museum that helps you get down to the meat and potatoes of who really built Baltimore and the care that went into crafting such an amazing city.
The Baltimore Museum of Industry was such a neat venue to hold this wedding. The place really gives you that feel of old Baltimore when you’re inside, and serves as a great reminder of the people that built this country. It also serves as a gorgeous venue to host a wedding!
It was a beautiful view for the ceremony, out on the dock. The skies couldn’t have been more perfect and the weather was just all-around amazing!
During the reception, Jen’s dad surprised her with a fun dance after a few minutes of traditional slow, father-daughter dancing. It really showed a great side to the whole family. The entire group was all so fun-loving and Jen’s dad really has some moves when it comes to working a dance floor.
And you know me, I love getting those Night Shots. Jen and Eric were IN LOVE with the Domino Sugar sign outside of the venue, so of course, we had to get some final shots of them out in front of it.
This really was an amazing wedding. Jen and Eric, thank you so much for being such an amazing couple! I was a real honor being able to capture your special day at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. I wish you many amazing years to come. Keep being the best!
