Nancy & Kyle : A Stone Manor Country Club Wedding

Stone Manor Country Club Wedding John Malloy Photography

Near the end of last May, I had the chance to to act as wedding photographer for Nancy and Kyle at the Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown, MD. I LOVE Maryland weddings! I can’t get enough, and this one was such a blast, I had to share it with you guys!

Nancy & Kyle’s Stone Manor Country Club Wedding

I’ve known Kyle’s dad for years now. He’s a good friend and a DJ I’ve worked with a lot at the Stoltzfus Homestead & Gardens. So when he recommended me to his son as a wedding photographer, I was incredibly greatful. Not just for the referral, but because I got to meet this amazing couple as well! They had one of the sweetest loves I had ever seen in all my years as a wedding photographer.

We started the day off early at the Stone Manor Country Club. The Stone Manor is one of Frederick County’s #1 spots as a wedding venue. It’s been featured in some of the best wedding magazines in publication, including The Knot, Southern Living, Borrowed & Blue, and countless blog posts and articles.

The beautiful, 18th century manor sits on 114 acres of lush, green lawns and gardens, historic barns, stone terraces, and plenty of incredible spots to capture the perfect wedding photo. And you better believe that’s exactly what we did!

Kyle and Nancy were such a photogenic couple. They truly lit up every shot I was able to take of them. Nancy and I share the same love for sunset evening shots, and the sunset that graced us with its presence that evening was truly breathtaking, especially with Nancy and Kyle in the mix.

But honestly, everything about this wedding made for a great wedding photo. The ceremony was beautiful and the family and friends were all happy and excited to be there for these two. The entire day was magical! Kyle actually used to be a photographer himself, so he was able to communicate with me effectively while still giving me creative room to breathe. He also used to be a DJ, so when it came time to rip it up on the dance floor, he pulled out some moves I’d never even seen before!

Kyle and Nancy, I wish you two all the happiness in the world. Thank you so much for allowing me to be your wedding photographer!
