As she walked down the wood chipped pathway, the pounding of her heart seemed to echo through the trees around her. Even though Arianna had known Ty for over 2 years, it seemed so different today, because this was the day she would promise him forever. When she finally set her eyes on him, the anxiety went away… before her stood her future husband, more handsome than ever. Everything was good and right in her world. She was ready.
Arianna and Ty had chosen everything thoughtfully and carefully. There were so many special details to their wedding. Arianna had picked her favorite shade of purple (dusk) for the bridesmaids dresses and the groomsmen ties. They blended perfectly with the beautiful flowers their dear friends had provided for them. Her stunning pearl necklace was an heirloom from her maternal grandmother and many of the displays at the reception included ladders that had belonged to her late grandfather. Family and friends brought an assortment of delicious treats, that went well with the ice cream sundae bar. (What an awesome idea!) Arianna and Ty’s favorite ice cream toppings added to all the other special touches throughout the day. This wedding was one that had so many personal details, the entire day was filled with small elements of the future Mr. and Mrs. Emel.
You would never guess from the photos that this was the hottest day of the year. With a heat index over 100 degrees, the challenge to keep everyone calm and cool seemed like it would have been a difficult task. But, the bride, the groom, and everyone involved were amazing, and despite the sweltering heat, they all looked stunning. Arianna and Ty had chosen The Stone Mill Inn as their venue, because of it’s perfect location for their traveling guests. The lush gardens and historical inn made it an ideal place for a timeless and romantic wedding. And as you can tell from the last photo, the high temperatures certainly didn’t effect the happy couple too much! Arianna and Ty are truly some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. When they should have been the center of attention all day, their concern for their guests was overwhelming. I’m so thankful to have met them…the best clients always seem like friends, and this was true of them.
