They met on a blind date, and knew within 2 months that they wanted to get married! Best friends and soulmates, they couldn’t wait until the day they were finally man and wife! Anna loves that Kyle can make her laugh all the time even when she’s feeling down, and the way he always demonstrates his endless love for her. Kyle loves Anna’s kind heart and that her love is steadfast and true. They’re such a sweet couple with amazing family and friends that made their day so perfect.
From the day they started talking about getting married, Anna dreamed of a fall wedding. It’s her favorite time of year, and she thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate their anniversary for years to come. When they visited Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens, they knew this would be the perfect place for autumn to show off all of it’s gorgeous rich colors and perfect cool temperatures. They loved the beautiful history behind the hometstead and the rustic feel it gave them at first sight. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and fall was in all of it’s glory on their special day.
Anna and her “girls” arrived at the bridal room early in the morning. They had a great time getting ready, laughing and rocking out to Def Leopard music. Anna had chosen to do a “first look” with her father. They’re so close and he means the world to her. It was an incredibly special moment, and the photos captured during that time will be a timeless treasure to them both forever. She also wanted a “first look” with her future groom. When they first saw each other, they were both full of emotion. Anna said that all of a sudden it hit her that they were really finally getting married! After a year of engagement, the day had arrived that she would get to spend the rest of her days with the love of her life. It was a beautiful and special moment.
We took some amazing bridal party shots outside. The fall leaves were perfect and the weather was just warm enough that they could all enjoy a few moments together before the ceremony.
The ceremony in the Tobacco Barn was really special. The love and support of their family was incredible. In one part of the ceremony, many of their family members, including both sets of parents, gathered around Anna and Kyle and prayed for a long and happy marriage. It was a memorable moment that they can always reflect on. I’m so glad we were able to capture it in a photograph.
After the ceremony and more photos, the reception in the Grand Barn was incredible. With amazing food, and endless dancing, it was definitely the funnest night of their lives.
The whole day was filled with so many special and fun facets. Anna said, “Every moment was a dream come true.”
For their honeymoon, Kyle and Anna enjoyed a visit to Jim Thorpe and a cabin getaway near Penn State. Their original plan to go to the Bahamas was postponed, and that’s okay, because their honeymoon ended up being the best week of their lives.
It was an honor to meet this amazing couple. I was so happy to capture the memories of their special day. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs King! May you have many years of happiness together!
