Hello and welcome to the blog! Here you'll find my latest thoughts and musings, excerpts from some of my most recent weddings, and most importantly...all things love.
Justin and Kassandra’s Stone Mill Inn wedding was special in so many ways. You’ll love the photos of the sunlight peeking through the trees in the late afternoon, the beauty of the historic mansion that so perfectly fit their style, and the entertainment the bride and groom provided their guests with their “Blues Brothers” wedding dance.
Anya and Joel are probably one my couples most looking forward to getting married. They’ve had some stressful moments in their lives these last few months. Joel was all ready to finish up his senior year of college, and prepped for his last track season when the pandemic brought an abrupt end to his dream of competing this spring. Anya, a registered nurse has had her share of stressful moments as she puts herself in a vulnerable position by serving others through her profession every day.
The dress was ready. The flowers ordered. A fabulous meal was planned. There was even going to be an Easter egg hunt for the children after the ceremony. Everything was coming together for the day Emily and Jeff had been waiting for. And then… a global pandemic exploded into their lives making everything seem uncertain. As many couples have contemplated, Emily and Jeff had to decide what to do about their spring wedding.
So, my friends, Breathe, contemplate and remember. Breathe deeply and meditate on positive things. Contemplate what you can do with the extra time you’ve been given. And remember the reason for all the planning. You get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend.
The day of Alyssa and Nick’s wedding was perfect. Not only was the weather gorgeous, but the whole day went by seamlessly …or as Alyssa says, “magically”. I don’t think I’ve ever been part of a wedding that had as much family involvement and sentimental elements as this one. There were so many personal touches […]
Emily and Brandon are one of those cute young couples that really enjoy being together. On the day of their engagement shoot, the weather was beautiful, giving us a lot of gorgeous natural light to work with.
It was a beautiful day at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens when Mandy and Danny said “I do” in front their family and close friends. Photographing their wedding was a pleasure. They are so fun and sweet. All of their images turned out really well, but the evening images are probably my favorite!
A photographer’s dream is to find himself with the right equipment, at just the right time, in just the right place. Add to that an incredibly sweet couple in love, and and dreamy golden hour sunlight, and that’s what we had on the day of Anne and Brandon’s engagement shoot.
If you’ve ever imagined a fairy tale wedding with a beautiful princess and a handsome prince, then you can envision exactly what we saw on the day of Danielle and Jacob’s wedding. In her stunning Hayley Paige gown, Danielle was the picture of loveliness, and Jacob looked as if he came right off the page of your favorite fairy tale romance. The whole day was incredible. The weather was perfect…warm and sunshiney for an October day. One of the sweetest couple’s I’ve ever met, Danielle and Jacob were so kind and appreciative.
I have been looking forward to photographing my sister’s engagement and wedding pictures for years! We were so happy to hear of Jolene and Adam’s engagement, and when she called and said she wanted to do her engagement shoot at Central Park, I was excited!! I love the energy and people in the city and it […]
