I’ve been so excited to share Mathew and Elga’s wedding since the day I took these photos. They are such an amazing couple and capturing their love in pictures was an honor for me.  With boho vibes and gorgeous colors, it was truly one of the most unique and beautiful weddings of the summer! 

I had an awesome engagement session with these two! They are so much fun and are naturals in front of the camera! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in just 3 weeks! Here’s a peek into their love story. We’ll be sharing the rest of it after the wedding, here, on the JM Journal!

Kala and Joe love visiting the Outer Banks together. They began vacationing there a few years ago, then got engaged there last year. So, what better place could they choose to get married? Every September, they return to enjoy the ocean, sand and peacefulness the beach offers. Now they can spend all of their anniversaries in the same place they promised each other forever. They even hope to retire there some day!

If 3rd time’s a charm, then what do you call the 4th time? Ask Sam and Roslayn Macquard because that’s how many wedding dates they had. Thankfully, I got to be part of the last date, and it was an absolutely stunning vineyard wedding.

We had a great time doing their engagement session at Overlook Park in Lancaster, Pa. Michaela and Kyle are so fun to be with, and so obviously in love. Their Spring 2021 wedding will be at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens. It’s the first and only venue they visited. They fell in love with this amazing location immediately. It’s perfect for the relaxed, yet classy party they have planned after they say “I do”. Yard games and string lights make it a fun and beautiful place to celebrate. I know it will be an incredible wedding and I’m so excited to capture their special day!

They say, “good things come to those who wait,” But it’s also true that good things sometimes come to those who don’t wait. That’s how Lauren and Eric felt when they couldn’t wait another day to get married so they tied the knot privately. That was exactly one year before I would photograph their actual wedding celebration. When that day finally arrived, they really couldn’t believe it. It had been a long road to this day for Lauren and Eric. After dating for 11 years, a courthouse ceremony, and a family health crisis, the long awaited event was finally here.

I love capturing wedding memories for my couples, and I get to do that at a wide array of venues. Being close to beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, I do a lot of outdoor, barn and estate weddings. When I get to work in a more modern eclectic venue like the Cork Factory Hotel, I really love it. I was so excited when Giulia and Geno asked me to photograph their wedding. It was gorgeous and fun! Their goal was for “a bunch of Italians to have a good time dancing, eating and drinking.” I think they achieved their goal. 

I can’t quite fully explain why Jillian and Daniel’s wedding was so special. Several of the other vendors felt the same way. hen the weather was warm and the days were longer, Monica, Brian and I had an incredible engagement shoot in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  I love taking photographs outside in the summer. Golden hour is beautiful and everyone feels relaxed and happy. Monica and Brian were naturals in front of the camera and I can’t wait until their wedding this September!

Shaniece and Andrew’s description of their wedding day had me laughing and almost crying. They had a lot of funny things to tell me, but they also had some deeply emotional moments that made me see they have a marriage that is strong and secure, and they will have many happy years loving and depending on each other.

Summer weddings at Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens are always a highlight. With so much beautiful scenery and outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone. Megan and Ty’s wedding was an incredible experience for everyone who attended, and I was honored to be a part of it.

As she walked along the path leading to her future groom, she was amazed at the beauty all around her.  Beautiful flowers, pristine trees…all of nature seemed to be waiting for the grand event to take place! In Jenna’s mind, it was like a wonderful dream.  The day had finally arrived for her to pledge her love to Chris forever and she couldn’t have imagined it being any more perfect.

When I saw Travis’s cowboy boots and Brittany’s sparkly heels, I knew I had seen their personalities in  true “shoe form”.  Their wedding was a beautiful combination of class and elegance with just a little touch of country.  Set in the gorgeous Amish countryside, Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was the perfect place for this amazing couple to say “I do”.
