When Yulia and Alex asked me to photograph their wedding, I was so excited. Before I actually met them, it was because I love weddings at The Cork Factory Hotel. They chose The Cork Factory because of it’s perfect location for both of their families. The industrial chic-boutique hotel is set in a 19th Century factory and is a popular wedding venue in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After spending time with them at their engagement session, I was even more excited because Alex and Yulia are such an amazing couple! They’re super sweet and their love for each other is so evident! They both totally have their A game when it comes to a photo shoot. Yulia brought some awesome props and the shoot ended up being one of the funnest I’ve done. I know you’ll love their photos.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, so it was inevitable that I would be a Steeler’s fan. Some of my favorite memories are going to the football games with my dad. You can imagine my excitement when I found out Sarah and Jake were big fans of my favorite NFL football team! Our engagement session was great! We had a good time walking around Overlook Park, getting to know each other, and of course, talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers.
From the start, I knew they were an extra special couple! Sarah is so sweet and really happy to be engaged to Ben. Ben’s a great guy, and when I found out he works for Pro Football Focus, I felt an instant connection. I love football (Go Steelers!) and he knows everything about all the players in the NFL. We had such a good time at their engagement shoot, walking around the park, getting to know each other and taking some amazing photos.
Brittany wasn’t looking for love. She was just out having a good time with her friends when she met Eric at Tellus 360, an Irish pub in Lancaster, Pa known for it’s live music and rooftop views. A few days after meeting him, she sent him a friend request on Facebook and a spark was ignited. Brittany’s first impression of Eric was that he spoke genuinely and cares about the same values she does. She really liked his sense of humor and knew she wanted to get to know him better. When Eric first met Brittany, he immediately loved her personality and found her so easy to talk to. That first night their conversation came naturally, and they both knew they wanted to get to know each other better.
I have been looking forward to photographing my sister’s engagement and wedding pictures for years! We were so happy to hear of Jolene and Adam’s engagement, and when she called and said she wanted to do her engagement shoot at Central Park, I was excited!! I love the energy and people in the city and it […]
You would never guess from how gorgeous Meghan and Tyler’s engagement photos are, that it was raining during the session! Thankfully, we were able to get some really great shots anyway. Meghan and Tyler were so awesome and totally laid back about it. While most girls would be fretting over their hair and makeup, Meghan […]
I love photographing engagement sessions. In fact, I encourage all my wedding photography clients to have an engagement session ahead of the wedding. Engagement sessions are a special time to document your love and emotions as they are before you get married. Not only that, but an engagement session can help couples to feel more […]
There is so much romance in the springtime. That’s why I love springtime engagement sessions, like this past April when I could meet up with Jessica and Tabel for a Long’s Park engagement session. It was a cool, crisp, April day and I was absolutely thrilled to be their engagement photographer. “And Spring arose on […]
